American Flyer 963 " Washington " Streamlined Observation Illuminated car
Satin-silver plastic body, without color band along smooth window line, " 963 Washington " below windows on metal plate. Roof has radio antenna along center-line, ends enter roof through holes, antenna is supported along its length at three places, rounded observation lounge end, taillight, amber plastic drumhead at rear of car . Illuminated, silhouettes, paper diffuser.  Black sheet-metal frame with a rounded edge, four-wheeled passenger trucks, one knuckle coupler.
Made only  1953-56 by The A.G. Gilbert Co, New Haven, Conn. USA
These have been in storage for close to  40 years, for a brief period 20 years ago, I thought I would get this set up, It's never going to happen.So it's time to give these a new home and a chance to be used.
I will be listing a lot of American Flyer cars, engines, tracks and More in the next few weeks.
Condition- The body is in Good shape, One knuckle is  complete, The radio wire is out of the top of the car but still attached.  When I bought these, I never had a chance to put them on a track, so I honestly don't know if they light up or not.  loose wire underneath.
