    So we've all been watching the prices for vintage 500cc 2-strokes going up very quickly. Mid 1980's Honda CR's seem to be leading the charge, with KX500's right behind. Here's another super nice bike, and prices on all my open class, big bore 2-strokes are firm.
    THIS BIKE HAS HAD THE FOLLOWING WORK DONE TO IT ALONG WITH ALL NEW PARTS:
    Engine was completely disassembled and rebuilt where needed:
    Very nice vintage FMF pipe. Repacked OEM Honda silencer.
    New electronic ignition (RegulatorRectifier.com). Huge spark. Huge compression. Monster Horsepower.
    All new crank seals and bearing collars.
    Motor completely resealed (all external & internal seals, bearings, etc)
    Standard bore OEM bore cylinder. HUGE compression--Motor will need 'new engine' break in procedure before riding or racing.
    New Hi-Flite custom seat cover.
    New front brake master cylinder.
    All new chain defense items.
    New graphics. Frame painted correct Honda Red.
    Front forks rebuilt with new seals & oil.
    Showa rear shock w/new nitrogen charge.
    All shock linkage was rebuilt - cleaned - greased.
    Keihin carb rebuilt/cleaned.
    New Renthal aluminum bars, Oury grips, controls, etc.
    Fresh gear oil & antifreeze (very Nice OEM radiators).
    Brand new OEM Honda 2 piece
    Aluminum water pump cover
    with OEM clutch cover. No more water pump corrosion problems, ever.
    New air filter. Airbox in grat shape with new rear splash guard. Water pump rebuilt with new seals and bushings.
    New brakes front & rear.
    All plastics are OEM Honda & quite nice.
    Newer Dunlop front tire w/ NEW METZLER rear tire & tube.
    Front rim has ding on left side only (cannot see in photos).
    Mid '80's CR500's are highly sought after bikes. 1985 was considered by most one of the BEST years for CR 500 of the vintage era. These '85-'86 CR500 bikes were phenomenal, and most would agree that Honda really 'nailed it' with this bike. Power/motor, suspension, handling, appearance---this bike had it all. First year water cooled -- very high horsepower. Front disc and rear drum brakes.
    This bike does NOT have a TITLE
    OEM tank, radiator shrouds, front/rear fenders and side panels.
    PAYMENT: I am not a big fan of paypal fees, especially on big ticket items like my bikes. If you want to pay me the total amount via paypal, you may do so only if you are willing to pay full price ('buy it now' option). Then I will absorb the fees. If you want to make me a lower offer, then you will need to add the 4% (international add 5%) to our agreed upon price to cover those fees.
